ADVERTISING

The advertising on this page contain pieces designed for both traditional print and electronic media. Much of it was completed while at Umpqua Feather Merchants where advertisements are changed on a monthly basis in some circumstances. Some of the highlighted campaigns are:

Umpqua Professional Guide (UPG) Fly Boxes

[Umpqua Feather Merchants]

A series of pretty "techie" ads done for the then recently launched line of state of the art waterproof fly boxes. The campaign relied upon the "evolution of the fly box" concept.

Umpqua Packs and Bags Action

[Umpqua Feather Merchants]

This campaign kicked off the launch of a new line of fishing packs and bags that were designed for serious anglers. This was a launch into a new category for Umpqua with some revolutionary product designs. Imagery focused on the serious "Navy Seal"-like angler and the incredible craftsmanship on the products. As these announced the launch before product hit the market, the lower right hand corner indicates the "reveal" aspect of the campaign.

Green with Envy Campaign

[Umpqua Feather Merchants]

A campaign designed once products were in stores, this approach intended to highlight the new green color of the product line. The concept relied upon the assumption that one's angling friends would be jealous of his or her Umpqua pack.

In/Vested Campaign

[Umpqua Feather Merchants]

Following the Green campaign, this approach coincided with the introduction of two new vests. Hence the play on the words "vested" and 'invested" with the continued typographical tie in to the Green campaign.
